KLUTT TAKES 7th PLACE AT THE PRAIRIE VELOCITY THUNDER 250
Smilin’ Assassin Captures His 5th Top 10 Finish This Season
Saskatoon, SASK: It was another battle for Gary Klutt and the #59 team, but he was able to pull out another top 10 finish in 7th place.
“I love racing at the Saskatchewan track…it’s a nice big oval with two lanes,” said Klutt after the race. “It was a fairly uneventful but hard-fought race for us…with the sun going down near the end of the race, the car needed a handling adjustment. With the timings of the cautions not going in our favour, we just had to live with the handling of the car.”
The Prairie Velocity Thunder 250 was the 7th installment in this 12 race season, leaving 5 courses left for the Smilin’ Assassin to leave his mark.
Klutt now sits in 8th position overall with 243 points. “I’m looking forward to getting back in the road course car for Trois Rivieres next weekend,” says Klutt, who is heading back to his race headquarters at Legendary Motorcar in Milton, Ontario.
