Retail / Service

Pioneer Family Pools is looking for personable and professional retail associates. You will become a part of a supportive team in a fast paced and exciting environment. We have seasonal and full-time positions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all customers, escorting those who require further assistance to the appropriate sales associate or manager
  • Assisting customers on retail floor and other departments (water lab, cash, chlorine fills)
  • Perform miscellaneous cleaning in the store and maintain a clean and organized store
  • Help price, stock and face merchandise on the sales floor and retail shelves
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned

 

Requirements

Sales Representative

Join a fun, engaging team in an outgoing retail environment where you will have a great amount of job diversity and customer interaction. The purpose of this position is to be helpful, knowledgeable and committed to finding solutions for all customers in their patio furniture needs. You will provide world-class customer service and sales practices. You will work independently, and in a team to create a clean, organized, life-like presentation of the outdoor furniture program. Your goal is to drive sales and find the most efficient, helpful and customer-focused outdoor furniture products to suit their lifestyle and well-being.

Training on products will be provided.

Location: This position is located at our Burlington retail location.

Pay: Hourly + generous commission on sales made that are paid out monthly

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in designing their outdoor space to be everything they want it to be.
  • Incorporate design, comfort, budget and merchandising for any and all customers as requested
  • Drive sales through engaging both customers and associates with accurate and practical product knowledge.
  • Assist and follow up with on-line leads.
  • Collect all outstanding payments before delivery or install, manage the A/R list.
  • Re-stock returns (if saleable); Assist the cashier with returns of all patio furniture items and accessories.
  • Accurately schedule customer home deliveries as per the delivery and assembly guidelines based on regional days and accessibility.
  • Maintain an outdoor display out front of the Retail location based on weather conditions. Ensure this area is presentable, well organized and clean
  • Use Pioneer Family Pools core values and principles to deliver a positive, friendly and pleasant experience while exceeding our customers’ expectations
  • Maintain at all times a clean, friendly, sales ready retail floor that is aligned with Pioneer Family Pools Corporate guidelines & expectations.
  • Working of Pioneer Pools Tent sales & off-site events; as well as the availability for set up & take down for said events

Hot Tub Technician

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday.

This position is also open to summer students, looking for a full-time seasonal role!

Pioneer Family Pools Oakville is looking for a personable and professional Hot Tub Technician to join our existing team members. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and take pride in a job well done. Previous experience working with Hot Tubs would be considered an asset however, extensive training will be provided regarding in-field duties, procedures and equipment knowledge.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Repair or replacement of hot tub equipment including pool pumps, electric heating elements, sensors and related components.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting of hot tub equipment and water chemistry
  • Proper explanation and instruction to customers about what needs to be done and why
  • Recommend equipment and services based on customer needs
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous experience working with Hot Tubs would be an asset
  • Valid G Class Driver’s License
  • You would be responsible to get yourself to and from work & from there a company vehicle and necessary tools will be provided
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather temperatures – including hot conditions

Seasonal Customer Service Representative

Service Department

Pioneer Family Pools is looking for a personable and professional Customer Service Representative to work closely with our existing team members to provide outstanding service to clients during our peak season. You will become a part of a supportive team in a fast paced and exciting environment. The successful candidate will work out of our Burlington or Oakville Service Office.

You will be provided with extensive training regarding procedures and equipment knowledge. Prior experience in the pool industry is not required, but is an asset.

Warehouse Associate

Pioneer Family Pools is hiring warehouse associates at our Burlington and Brantford locations.

 

Job Duties:

  • Process, package and ship orders accurately
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Check, verify and fill customer invoices
  • Abide by all company safety regulations
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Help customers load merchandise professionally into their Items such as salt, sand, chlorine, solar blankets, other big-ticket items.
  • Receive all trucks, and confirm / match all packing slips & product
  • Ensure no product leaves the warehouse without proper documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Navision Developer

We are currently seeking a Dynamics NAV Developer to join our growing Business Intelligence Team. As our newest team member, you will be responsible for designing solutions to business requirements. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong sense of good coding practices and an analytical mind for approaching and solving problems logically and thoroughly. We are looking for someone who is excited about being a member of our team and contributing to the team's collective growth and success. We are looking for someone who asks questions to find the best solution to a problem and carry that solution through to production. In addition to the primary focus of working with Dynamics NAV, we want someone who is passionate about software development and is interested in applying themselves to solving problems using a wide variety of technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and test solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform
  • Configure and maintain our Dynamics NAV implementation
  • Provide support for escalated customer service issues

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience with C/AL and C/Side programming

  • Proficient in coding and configuration of the LS-Retail Point of Sale System
  • Experience using PowerBI or data related dashboard systems
