We have been a leader in the pool industry for a half a century and are completely Canadian owned and operated. We now carry and showcase live pools, hot tubs, swim spas, patio furniture, chemicals, maintenance products, parts, service, FREE water testing and much more.

The Pioneer groups of companies were founded back in 1965. The award winning team presently has 19 stores across Southern Ontario. This chain wide buying power provides our customers with all the leading manufacturers and lowest prices in the industry.

Our Hamilton location at 1160 Rymal Rd. East, has been serving the area for over 25 years. Previously there were two locations in Hamilton, one located on the mountain and the other in the east end. As we continued to grow and become a leader in the industry there was the need for expansion. Our current building was built in 1988 and was shared with Basin Street Kitchens & Bathrooms. Pioneer maintained approximately 1,143 sq. ft. while Basin Street maintained the remaining 257 sq. ft. that were eventually occupied by Dashwood Windows & Doors. When the location was established it held 148 sq. ft. of space for offices, 1,182 sq. ft. of show room space and 322 sq. ft. of warehouse space. In 2001 we took over the space that Dashwood occupied. They created a 12 ft. opening in the wall and did some minor renovations that turned that area into their patio showroom. By this time Head Office had been moved to Burlington. Throughout the years that followed, Pioneer once again found the need to expand and turned 103 sq. ft. of warehouse space into showroom. Upon this expansion the store went through an extensive renovation.
